Ok, I just read that the “campers” in Harold Camping’s “camp” of “Family Radio” fame somehow believe that the Rapture is going to take place on May 21, 2011.
Need I remind anyone that Harold Camping wrongly predicted the “rapture” in 1994? And again in 2001?

Wrong in 1994, Wrong in 2001, and Wrong in 2011:
I guess Harold himself provides the evidence that the rapture did NOT take place on those dates (and the rest of us missed it), because HAROLD is still here, cranking out ridiculous claims.
And why, pray tell, will the “rapture” occur on May 21 (!! In just 35 days! :-0 )
Why, Genesis 7:4, of course! How could you miss that?
For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. (Genesis 7:4 KJV)
Here’s the logic, as I can make out:
(A) A day is like a thousand years (2 Peter 3:8).
(B) Find any verse with the word “day” in it. Just pick one.
(C) How about Genesis 7:4?? Looks good!
(D) Therefore, it is PROVEN that seven days EQUALS 7,000 years.
(E) Calculate 7,000 years after the flood and you arrive at May 21, 2011!!! Alarm! Alarm! (using the rabbinic Hebrew calendar of course, rather than other more accurate calendars. Oh, and verse 11, too).
With stellar logic like this, who needs a circus?
One thing I would like to ask is, if 7 days equals 7,000 years in Genesis 7:4, then why not 40 days equals 40,000 years?
So, therefore we would count 7,000 years after the Flood and it is supposed to rain for 40,000 years. What? Are you “Campers” telling me my reasoning is faulty? Why? The “Bible” proves that it will rain for forty thousand years!!
With Bible interpreters like these, who needs enemies?
Don’t get me wrong, of course Yeshua the Messiah is coming back. I tend to believe he comes back at the LAST trump as it is precisely written in 1 Corinthians 15:51, not any other of the seven trumpets. There’s a handy chart at http://www.bcbsr.com/survey/rev7t.html.
So get your “camping” gear and head on over to Facebook to register for the Non-Event.

This would be a chart of would-be rapture and end-of-the-world events in history, and I've noticed, Harold Camping fans are allergic to this sort of factual thing here… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dates_predic…
