Living here in Israel, I am a bit concerned that no one in my circles is even discussing the matter of the UN General Assembly coming up in September.
Apparently there is a very real possibility that the UN will dictate a 2-state solution to Israel. A U.S. veto is uncertain at best. Meaning that Jerusalem’s French Hill neighborhood would come under the PA. Not to mention parts of Samaria and Judea. (I now live in Samaria).
If such a declaration goes forth, intense friction will most likely accompany it. I wonder how friendly relations would be between the Arab village next door to my Jewish village.
Just down the road just two weeks ago, the Itamar massacre occurred on March 12. Still no real suspects, far as I’ve heard.
Keep on praying for the peace of Jerusalem. Psalm 122:6.
