King David, the worship warrior king, the former shepherd boy who overcame Goliath the giant by faith, such a faith that was developed while he played his harp and fought the lion and the bear. This worship warrior king collected taxes from his people and set aside a budget to finance a 24/7 project for musicians to be employed 100% in the work of Worship.
Antisemitic Cartoon Published on NY Times With No True Apology
It is laughable to think how many years have passed since NYT and CNN could be counted on for actual news, instead of yellow journalism.
Recently in 2019, the NYT published an antisemitic cartoon that would have made the Nazis proud. Then NYT utterly failed to apologize appropriately. Hordes have unsubscribed.

2 Corinthians 4:8-11 (AENT)
Interesting how we see in this Scripture that our problems and struggles are actually part of being just like Messiah. These “attacks” are an expression of how we are counted dead to the flesh so that we may live within Messiah.
This is found clearly in the final few sentences, including the phrase, “for Y’shua’s sake…”
It is for His sake that we must endure these trials.
And the result? “The life of Y’shua (will) be manifested in our mortal body.” That’s the amazing part. In suffering, even in death, Messiah’s life is manifested – not just in the future, but NOW, in our current mortal bodies.
Now that’s encouraging!
Do you agree or disagree, are you encouraged or does this discourage you somehow? Scribble your thoughts in the comments.
Have a great day in Messiah Y’shua!
Shabbat Begins at Sundown on the Sixth Day
How much can you get done before sunset on the sixth day each week?
Is it possible to clear the desk by then?
How would it feel to put off the rest of the cleaning for 24 hours – and have a valid excuse for doing so?
Can we finish the cooking by sunset, and then relax and just eat leftovers for a day?
Seems pretty easy, actually. Why fight it?
Shabbat Countdown with Yerubilee
The Earth has operated on a seven-day cycle since the beginning of time.
Nothing in the Bible has changed that.
Nothing engraved in stone has changed that.
Throughout time, there have always been those who have counted the days since the previous Shabbat. They have counted the days left until the upcoming Shabbat.
They have ceased from their labors, as YAH ceased from His labors, from sunset on the sixth day until sunset at the end of the seventh day.
In world history, exactly zero cultures have established anything other than a seven-day week. Except for China, with an experimental 10-day week which didn’t work out so well. Apparently, the factory workers were all worn out, and productivity decreased.
Why the universal historical acceptance of the seven-day week? Why not eight? Or five?
How interesting, that ancient cultures never even considered changing YAH’s command. YHWH has Blessed and Set Apart (made Kadosh; made Holy) the Seventh Day for all generations, for all tribes, and for all time (Genesis/B’resheet 2:3).
Join the ancient tradition of counting the days. Everyone is welcome. What will you choose?

Why Do Some Have More Faith Than Others?
Some people have great faith in the Creator; others, not so much. Why this difference? I will give a few examples to show that great faith comes from internalizing His Great Faithfulness. He is now gathering His people back to the Land not for the people’s good behavior but for His Name (Ezek 20:44; 36:22,32). And He will not allow the people to be scattered again (Amos 9:15). We see from the Ezekiel passages that His Word is True; therefore, it’s not a huge leap to believe that Amos 9:15 is also true. YHWH promised He would regather His people Israel back to the Land, and wow, look! He’s done it (1948). That’s the big picture and yet there are issues we face in our lives where we must personally rely upon His faithfulness to lead and guide us every step. (Isa. 30:20-21). I refer to these prophecies simply to show that my faith is based upon His record of being faithful, in the history of Israel and in personal life. Yes, we all know that Israel has been disobedient and has suffered as a result (Dvarim/Deut. 28) but YAH would never forsake His own child (Isaiah 49:14-16). Continuing on thru verse 26 that He will multiply His people upon the Land once again, and the oppressors’ violent deeds will come to nothing. Again, this has nothing to do with Israel’s behavior or obedience; notwithstanding, Israel will respond to His love and mercy with her obedience (Ezekiel 11:16-21; 36:17-31, Isaiah 66:23).
